PRIVATE IN-HOME SESSIONSare $70 per 1-hour session (ages 8 weeks thru 5 months) and $75 per 1-hour session (ages 6 months and older).
The number of sessions will be determined by your dog's ability to learn and your commitment to working with him/her. Usually, 4 sessions are sufficient for basic obedience commands. Major behavioral modification, problem solving, and/or housebreaking are $80 per l-hour session. Just as each of us are individuals, each dog is an individual. My training programs are structured for you and your dog. Please feel free to contact me if you have any special needs or concerns.
GROUP LESSONS are per team (handler and dog), per session (there are 4 weekly sessions):
2-3 teams = $60 per team, per session = $240 total for each team
4-5 teams = $50 per team, per session = $200 total for each team
The course to be paid in full at first session (no refunds if course is not completed).
CGC TRAINING AND EVALUATION is the same rate structure as noted above under Private In-Home Sessions, along with proof of previous basic obedience training. The dog must be 90% compliant on all commands, in an environment with no distractions, before we start. The evaluation (test) fee will be $50. The CGC training consists of off-site training using the "CGC 10 Test Items" as the guide. (The fee for just the evaluation is $70).
The evaluation/test consists of 10 test items. If the dog passes all 10 during the test, he/she will receive certification. It is not a guarantee that your dog will pass but the test can be retaken until he/she passes, for an additional reduced fee of $45 per test).
The CGC training program is designed to teach responsible dog ownership and to assist with the development of a reliable, well-behaved member of the family and community. The evaluation consists of 10 test items. The training also provides a foundation for further training to become therapy or service dogs, if so desired!
SERVICE AREAS are Azusa, Baldwin Park, Brea, Chino, Chino Hills, City of Indrustry, Covina, Diamond Bar, El Monte, Glendora, Hacienda Heights, La Habra, La Puente, La Verne, Phillips Ranch, Pomona, Rowland Heights, San Dimas, Walnut, West Covina. (Must be within a 12-mile radius and/or 20 minute travel time). Please inquire regarding extended areas.
